WINE BAR ACOUSTICS
THE BRIEF
Windy Creek Estate engaged Discus to help improve the acoustics in their Swan Valley wine bar.
As a relatively large space, the wine bar featured many hard surfaces and when full of patrons the venue became quite loud.
Discus provided printed acoustic panels to help improve sound absorption in the wine bar and add to the aesthetics of the space.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
After conducting a site visit and measure, Discus provided a range of acoustic samples prior to production.
Woven Image EchoPanel 12mm white was used in four areas of the wine bar.
The client’s supplied photography reproduced a photographic quality result using Discus’ latex printing technology.
Each of the four images were printed on eight panels meaning precise alignment of printing was imperative.
THE RESULT
The acoustic panels have had a significant impact on acoustics in the wine bar.
The use of printed acoustic panels, showcasing photography of the Estate, have contributed to the aesthetics of the venue by adding colour and focal points to the space.
