SILVER THOMAS HANLEY & GEORGIOU
THE HOLLYWOOD CLINIC
THE BRIEF
Silver Thomas Hanley specified Discus for the design, print and installation of glazing films as part of the expansion of the mental health service at Hollywood Private Hospital.
The Hollywood Clinic expansion included a new 31-bed ward and a purpose-built mental health day hospital with five group therapy rooms and a day procedure unit.
The brief was to design and deliver window films to achieve privacy and add to the aesthetics of the day hospital and ward.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
We worked closely with project architect Silver Thomas Hanley to ensure their design vision was realised.
They selected design Flora in colourway Plantano from the discus design library – an organic design capturing the delicate beauty of Australian flora.
Our design studio provided to-scale samples and proofs for architect approval prior to production.
We produced the graphics on dusted and optically clear widow films for a range of glazing sizes and application areas.
We also worked closely with project builder Georgiou and contractor Mandurah Painters and Decorators where our team installed all graphics inline with the construction programme.
THE RESULT
The glazing film design compromises a subtle, natural pattern that features throughout the mental health day hospital and ward.
The window graphics not only provide privacy but help to create a serene environment to foster healing and calm.
