TAPAS BAR ART
INTERCONTINENTAL PERTH
THE BRIEF
Linton and Kay Galleries engaged us to bring to fruition a custom art piece for the tapas bar Heno & Rey at the new InterContinental Perth.
As a sophisticated venue located on the corner of King St and Hay, the production quality needed to be of a high standard.
The statement piece uniquely travels vertically behind the bar, extending across the ceiling and into the outdoor alfresco, requiring expert planning and application.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
We consulted with Linton and Kay Galleries providing our expert recommendations on the best substrate and install method to achieve the desired result.
We used crushed stone wall graphic to provide texture to the artwork.
The installation process was fairly involved, with the team defying gravity to apply the ceiling graphics.
With the use of a specialised elevated work platform, the team worked around the bar’s fixtures and fittings to safely apply the artwork.
They worked out of hours to ensure the art was ready for the venue’s launch date.
THE RESULT
The result is a show-stopping statement piece that draws the attention of patrons and adds to the lively atmosphere of Heno and Rey.
The application of the artwork across the ceiling and alfresco creates a unique point of difference in hospitality art.
