PERTH AIRPORT
SPARKLE PROJECT
THE BRIEF
We had the pleasure of working with Perth Airport on their sparkle project which involved the rejuvenation of Terminals 3 and 4.
The signage formed welcoming, wayfinding and informational messages – all executed as wall graphics and designed to greatly add to the aesthetics of the Terminals.
A key consideration was the need to apply graphics over Qantas branded areas that heavily featured the bold colour red. This required the important selection of appropriate block-out vinyls that would also provide durability in the high-traffic environment.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
Push Creative designed Perth Airport’s artwork which featured uniquely Western Australian themes in various Terminal locations.
A flagship signage item is the striking “Welcome to Perth” graphic. Positioned in Terminal 4, the mammoth 23m x 6m metre wall graphic provides a grand greeting for visitors to Perth.
Another grand signage item is the 28m x 3m metre “Arrivals” graphic that makes an impressive centrepiece above the arrivals doors in Terminal 4.
Given the convex and concave nature of both these walls, special consideration was given to the choice of vinyl and installation application.
Graphics were also applied to the baggage carousel areas, providing a colourful Western Australian backdrop.
Throughout the Terminals, other informational and wayfinding messages were executed as wall graphics.
Executed as a staggered roll-out, Discus installed all graphics during scheduled quiet periods to minimise impact to Perth Airport
THE RESULT
The signage delivered as part of Perth Airport’s sparkle project, present colourful and impactful graphics that greatly enhance the aesthetics of the Terminals and provide a uniquely Western Australian ambience.
Perth Airport is delighted with the quality result – an adequately permanent rejuvenation of the highly-frequented Terminals 3 and 4.
