PEET
SEA CONTAINER SOLUTION
THE BRIEF
When a stacked sea container fell due to strong coastal winds experienced during a storm, PEET engaged Discus to deliver a customised solution for their prominent marketing tool at Golden Bay.
The brief was to devise and implement an effective weight solution to withstand strong coastal winds, as well as coordinate the lifting of the sea container and the production and installation of all new graphics.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
Discus project-managed all facets of the job to ensure a seamless process for PEET.
After coordinating the crane-lift of the stacked sea containers to their original position, our Discus Sign Services team engineered a weight management solution that involved the use of a water crate system.
The weight management design provides an effective and versatile solution while meeting all necessary requirements.
With the stacked sea containers securely anchored, we went about removing the existing graphics and repairing and replacing the sail track banner system.
After producing new 12 x 5m and 2 x 5m banners, our team installed the new graphics to each side of the stacked containers.
THE RESULT
A customised solution has been achieved for the impressive and prominent marketing tool at PEET’s Golden Bay.
The development of the weight management design and the coordination of all elements of the project by Discus, has meant a seamless and effective service delivery for PEET.
