PARKWAY ARTWAY HOARDING
TO AND FRO STUDIO FOR LD TOTAL
THE BRIEF
When To and Fro Studio briefed us on the Parkway Artway for LD Total, we knew this wouldn’t be the average hoarding project.
With over 330 linear metres of hoarding travelling down Parkway in Ellenbrook, the objective was to deliver a captivating community art initiative.
With To and Fro Studio engaging us in the early stages of the project, we were able to collaborate with them in a way that would best showcase the work of numerous local artists.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
Given the foundation of the hoarding was staggered and the artwork was continuous in nature meant special consideration was needed to ensure the integrity of the art was not compromised. Following a design briefing and site visit and measure, we were able to provide recommendations to the artwork and panel placement to safeguard a seamless result.
We printed the artwork direct to ACM with an anti-graffiti gloss laminate. The installation process was intricate considering the artwork needed to align on the staggered hoarding. The ACM was installed via batons to the colorbond foundation.
THE RESULT
The Parkway Artway hoarding is a clever and colourful way of bringing street art to Ellenbrook through a high-quality execution.
In a multi-use community space, the hoarding has provided a captivating landscape that showcases local artists and fosters a real sense of community in the area.
