MULTIPLEX FOR CHEVRON
ONE THE ESPLANADE
Discus was commissioned by Multiplex to deliver a comprehensive signage and graphics package for Chevron’s new Australian headquarters located at One the Esplanade, Elizabeth Quay.
The new 29-storey riverfront tower is a world-class corporate environment featuring end of trip facilities, retail, food and beverage options, as well as gymnasium and childcare facilities.
The extensive project saw Discus responsible for delivering over 6,000 individual sign items across 18 levels of Chevron’s corporate office space and 3 levels of the community podium space.

WHAT WE DELIVERED
The large-scale project required meticulous project management and communication.
Working with key project stakeholders, our project management team spent the initial 5 months of the 10 month project duration working on the design and sampling process. This involved our design studio creating extensive shop drawings and elevations for each of the signage elements.
The elaborate sampling process saw our team recommend and source alternative methods and materials to achieve the same goals when the originally specified products were not possible or available. Our team ensured there were colour matches across the signage suite which consisted of a mix of pre-finished products, printed products, pre-coloured products and painted products. The design and sampling process was important in safeguarding the fruition of the original design intent.
With a comprehensive suite of large format printing technology and an on-site fabrication department, Discus was able to move through the production phase with ease following sample approval.
The Chevron signage package consisted of over 6,000 individual sign items including:
- A range of glazing film including full height, wide-band privacy and safety band strips
- Stainless steel signage
- Wall graphics
- Room name signs
- Braille signs
- Locker signage
- Kitchen and amenities signage
- Statutory signage
Our large sign services installation team, well orientated with the site and requirements, worked efficiently installing each signage item to a high standard.
The high quality finishes of the graphics and signage help to shape the state-of-the-art corporate environment that is the new national headquarters for one of the world’s largest energy companies.
With meticulous attention to detail, Discus has delivered an extensive signage and graphics package featuring thousands of signage items over 18 storeys.
Each item has been delivered on-spec and as envisaged through the original design intent.
